These numbers compare with inventory of 14,387 on March 1, a 12% decrease in just four months.  Over 150 of the sales in June were short sales indicating a slight shift in the short sale arena.  We seem to be reaching the point where the banks have their systems and policies in place; and these transactions seem to be moving a bit faster than in the recent past.

Buyers should realize that interest rates are going up and very likely to continue.  Mortgage rates in the 5% range seem to be gone with 7% looming in the near future.

The $8000 tax credit expires December 1, 2009!  If your tax return this year was $500 you could receive $8,500 next year; if you paid $500 in taxes your tax return next year could be $7,500!  Call and ask me how.
